 DJ OJI Coming to you from Balitmore, MD. DJ Oji is one of a few DJ's that I consider an idol and inspiration. He is an artist/DJ that I hope to one day meet and collab with on a mix. I discovered him on Deephousemix.com back in 2007 when I was reintroduced to House Music. Bar none this kat is very talented and you can tell he has a TRUE LOVE for what he does. This specific mix is from his New Years 2008 mix done on Handz On Radio. I forgot I had it on my hard drive but when I played it again I was hooked. This mix is in HEAVY rotation on my Ipod as well as here in the house.

Foremost Poets Mix (The Johnny Dangerous Zone)
This mix I came across in 2008 while searching for house mixes in Itunes. It came with my subscription to Timmy Richardson Presents and I fell in love with it. I love the intro of this mix but the pure flow of energy from the beat is what makes it another HEAVY rotated mix on my Ipod. DJ Ahmed's Underground House Mix 7 is one of my favorites and also get HEAVY rotation on the Ipod. I came across this mix in 2007. This was from his Underground House Mix Series. I could not find anything on the internet for him and the original website is no longer active. But the mix is still HOTT!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. |

 Today's featured DJ is Gant Garrard "aka" DJ Gant-Man. Gant Garrard (pronounced Jerrod)(aka Gant-Man to the Ghetto Juke House world and Brother 2 Brother alongside Paul Johnson) was introduced to mixing in the early 80's by his older brother and learned how to count beats and blend records at the young age of 5 with Disco, New York Gararge, Electronic, Hip Hop and Chicago House music. At age 10 he was ready to share his talent with the world and began mixing on a college radio station in Chicago [WKKC 89.3 FM] where he mixed from 1989 through 1997. At age 15 in 1995, Gant produced his first EP for Dance Mania called "Its About Time" which spawned the Chicago Underground smash 3 Blind Mice which was built around the theme music from The Three Stooges television show. He became known in Chicago as the Youngest Professional DJ and is attributed to being one of the main key innovators of Ghetto Juke House.
